"Demon Slayer" is based on the manga of the same name, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, and has exceeded 150 million copies in circulation.

Set in a world inhabited by man-eating demons during the Taisho era, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was slaughtered by demons, and whose sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family and restore Nezuko to human form.

The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a social phenomenon. The sequel film, "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train," released in October 2020, broke domestic box office records, surpassing 40 billion yen. The second season, "Entertainment District Arc," aired from December 2021, followed by the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," which began in April 2023.

The ongoing "Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" covers episodes from volumes 15-16 of the manga, depicting Tanjiro and his friends training under the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps to become stronger.
