'Survival' TV Anime to Air in October; New Character Visuals Released
The popular manga series "Kagaku Manga Survival" is set to be adapted into a TV anime, which will air on NHK E-Tele starting this October.

The "Survival" series, known for being an educational comic that nurtures scientific thinking while being entertaining, has sold over 35 million copies worldwide and 14 million copies in Japan alone. Domestically, the series has published 55 different themes across 86 volumes.
Geo
In 2023, the series celebrated its 15th anniversary and has been highly favored by elementary school students, earning the top spot in the "Children's Book General Election" for three consecutive years: the 2nd edition (announced in 2020), the 3rd edition (announced in 2022), and the 4th edition (announced in 2024).
Previously, "Survival in the Human Body" was released as a theatrical film in 2020, followed by "Survival in the Deep Sea" in 2021. This time, the series will make its much-anticipated debut as a TV series.
Dia
The teaser visual reveals the survival expert "Geo" and the genius survivalist "Dia," who is making his first appearance in the anime. The visual depicts them falling from the sky, hinting at the survival challenges they will face.
