Launched in Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2021, the manga depicts a seaside love comedy centered on a café, where a young man shares a house with five girls destined to meet him. The story follows Hayato Kasukabe, a gifted student who passed the University of Tokyo entrance exam on his first try. After learning of his estranged grandmother’s passing, he returns for the first time in three years to his family’s old seaside home, Café Terrace Familia, only to find five unfamiliar girls living there, leading to an unexpected communal life. The series inspired two TV anime seasons, which aired in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

To commemorate the manga’s completion, Masaaki Mizunaka, who voiced protagonist Hayato in the anime, commented:
“Congratulations on completing The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses! Hayato being tossed around by all the unique and charming heroines — and at times turning the tables on them — was always a joy to watch. As the story progressed, both the love and comedy grew more and more dynamic. I’ve always loved Koji Seo’s romantic comedies.”
