ABEMA has announced a special program, "The 2024 Isekai Anime Collaborates with M-League Match," featuring a collaboration between the professional mahjong league M-League and five popular isekai anime series from Bandai Namco Filmworks. The program will air on June 23 and June 30 at 7 PM each night.

This unique collaboration aims to familiarize a wider audience with mahjong, partnering with five popular isekai anime series from Bandai Namco Filmworks. The collaborating anime series are "I Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability," "Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire," "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime," "This World Is Just Too Incomplete," and "Reign of the Seven Spellblades." These five series are teaming up under the banner "Lots of Isekai Anime in 2024" (nicknamed "IsePai"), with various projects underway.

Voice actors who play characters in each anime series will serve as cheer captains for the teams, formed by M-Leaguers and comedians with a deep knowledge of mahjong. These teams will compete in heated matches, putting their anime's prestige on the line.

The competition rules include five total round-robin matches, with the top four teams advancing to a final match consisting of one full game.

Additionally, this special program will be simultaneously broadcast on ABEMA’s "Mahjong Channel" and "Anime LIVE Channel." It will also be available on the official M-League YouTube channel and Bandai Namco Filmworks' official isekai anime YouTube channel, Isekai Channel. The "Mahjong Channel" and M-League YouTube will focus on the mahjong matches, while the "Anime LIVE Channel" and Isekai Channel will showcase behind-the-scenes footage of the team members supporting their respective series.
