On the 18th, TV Asahi will broadcast a special episode of the anime "Crayon Shin-chan" (Broadcast today in Japan time). This episode is a collaboration with "Wonderful Precure!" (Wanpuri), featuring characters Komugi and Iroha from Wanpuri. Additionally, Shin-chan and Shiro will transform into Precure characters "Cure Oshiri(bottom)" and "Cure Wata-ame(cotton candy)".

The theme of "Wonderful Precure!" revolves around "animals" and "the bond with animals." The main character is the first-ever dog Precure, Cure Wonderful (Komugi Inukai), and the series highlights the bond between Komugi and her owner, Iroha Inukai.

This special collaboration brings together Shin-chan and his pet Shiro, who share a strong bond. In this unique crossover, Komugi and Iroha will appear in "Crayon Shin-chan" on TV Asahi (4:30 PM) on the 18th, while Shin-chan and Shiro will appear in "Wonderful Precure!" on ABC TV and TV Asahi (8:30 AM) on the 19th.

In today's "Crayon Shin-chan" episode titled "Ora, I'm a Precure," Shin-chan and Shiro are playing by the river when they are joined by Komugi and Iroha. Despite Komugi speaking human language, Shin-chan quickly befriends them, and they start playing with a flying disc. However, they are interrupted by Garugaru from "Wonderful Precure!"

Komugi transforms into "Cure Wonderful" and Iroha into "Cure Friendly," but they are overpowered by Garugaru. Just then, two Wonderful Pacts descend from the sky! Shin-chan and Shiro transform into "Cure Oshiri" and "Cure Watame" to help. The teamwork of these four characters is a highlight, and the true identity of Garugaru is revealed, showing the combined efforts of Shin-chan, Shiro, Komugi, and Iroha.

I was incredibly happy and honored! At first, when the staff told me that Shin-chan and Shiro would become Precure, I didn't quite understand what they meant.

Q: What did you focus on during the recording for "Wonderful Precure!"?
I tried to blend Shin-chan seamlessly into the Wanpuri world as if he were a regular character. I was extremely nervous, but it was so much fun. Director Mutou, who greeted us with his favorite Action Mask costume, seemed to be having the most fun (laughs). For Shin-chan and Shiro's transformation into Precure, I focused on cuteness, grace, and strength.

Q: Do you have a message for the viewers eagerly awaiting the broadcast?
This dream collaboration has finally come true. Shin-chan visits the Wanpuri world! And... after 20 years of dreaming, my wish to become a Precure has come true.
