Scene cuts from Episode 1 of the new TV anime "Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" have been released.

Episode 1, titled "To Defeat Muzan Kibutsuji," depicts Sanemi and Iguro heading towards an abandoned castle on a mountain for their mission. Meanwhile, Tanjiro is recovering from his injuries at the Butterfly Mansion. During this time, the Hashira gather at the Ubuyashiki Estate for a Hashira meeting. Muichiro explains the method of manifesting marks. The story unfolds with the beginning of the Hashira training aimed at strengthening the entire Demon Slayer Corps. The released scenes feature Giyu, Muichiro, and Mitsuri participating in the Hashira meeting. The "Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" covers episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, focusing on Tanjiro and his comrades becoming stronger through training with the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira. "Demon Slayer" is a popular series originally serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, with the manga surpassing 150 million copies in circulation.

Set in the Taisho era, where man-eating demons exist, the story follows a boy named Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons. To turn his demon-transformed sister Nezuko back into a human and avenge his family, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps and sets out on a journey. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a social phenomenon due to its popularity. The movie "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train," which continued from the final episode of the anime, was released in October 2020, grossing over 40 billion yen domestically. The second season, "Entertainment District Arc," which followed the movie, aired from December 2021, and the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," aired from April 2023.
