 Jump Festa 2024 was held on the 16th at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, featuring a stage event for the TV anime "My Hero Academia." A letter from the original manga creator, Kohei Horikoshi, was shared at the event.

 The original manga is currently reaching its climax, and Horikoshi revealed in his letter, "The battle I am drawing now is also reaching its climax. There are still many scenes I want to draw beyond this battle."

 He expressed his commitment to the story, "I will continue to strive together with Deku and the others until the end," and humorously added, "If it's still running at next year's Jump Festa, I promise to host a prostration festival on stage, so I encourage everyone to apply."

 Also, at this year's Jump Festa, a comment from the original creator of "Jujutsu Kaisen," Gege Akutami, was read at the stage, hinting at the conclusion of the story in 2024. The announcement elicited surprised reactions from the audience.

 The original manga, surpassing 85 million copies in circulation, is a popular series serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since July 2014. The story, set in a world where superpowers known as "Quirks" are common, follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) as he aims to become a hero to protect society and combat villains misusing their Quirks. He grows alongside his classmates at the prestigious U.A. High School for heroes. The TV anime's first season started in April 2016, followed by theatrical releases.


 The manga has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since July 2014, and its first TV anime season began in April 2016. Its movie adaptations have also been released. The announcement for the broadcast of the 7th anime season starting in May was made at the Jump Festa stage event.
