【Attack on Titan Metaverse】 "Attack on Titan" Makes Its First Web3 Metaverse Debut in The Sandbox

Minto Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Kazuhiro Mizuno), Copro Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Koichiro Kawashima), and The Sandbox (Headquarters: Hong Kong, CEO: Arthur Madrid) have announced that they will launch "Attack on Titan LAND" in the Web3 gaming metaverse "The Sandbox" under a licensing agreement with Kodansha. They will also sell avatars, NFTs, and more.

This "Attack on Titan LAND" in The Sandbox marks the world's first Web3 metaverse venture for "Attack on Titan." The aim is to create an immersive metaverse space within The Sandbox, offering attractions and events that allow players worldwide to experience the world of "Attack on Titan." Additionally, the production and sale of NFTs designed to enhance the immersive experience within the LAND are planned.

"Attack on Titan" is a Japanese manga set in a dark fantasy world, which has taken the world by storm, with its anime and movies enjoying global popularity. "We are excited to bring the authentic world of 'Attack on Titan' into the metaverse and see its story continue as a new adventure in The Sandbox. From NFT collectibles to captivating experiences, the collaboration between The Sandbox and "Attack on Titan" aims to deliver new worlds unique to Web3 and meet the expectations of existing fans.

"Attack on Titan" (created by Hajime Isayama, Kodansha) is a globally beloved dark fantasy manga that depicts humanity's fight for survival against Titans in a world filled with despair. The story follows the protagonist Eren and the Survey Corps as they resist the Titans.
