The musical "Attack on Titan" -the Musical- is set to be performed at New York City Center in the United States from October 11 to 13. This will be the first overseas performance of the production. Directed by Go Ueki, who also directed the Japanese premiere, the cast includes Okamiya Kurumu as Eren Yeager, Sara Takatsuki as Mikasa Ackerman, Eito Konishi as Armin Arlert, Ryo Matsuda as Levi, and Takuro Ohno as Erwin Smith.

The musical "Attack on Titan" -the Musical- integrates the latest technology and theatrical techniques, creating a unique stage experience that features the overwhelming presence of the Titans, along with diverse expressions through music, dance, and action. The show, which premiered in Osaka and Tokyo in January 2023, quickly gained popularity on social media and concluded its run to full houses.

For the New York performances, new cast members Shota Matsuda as Jean Kirstein and Yuri Takahashi as Connie Springer will join the production. The original creator, Hajime Isayama, also shared his excitement about the New York performances.

"Attack on Titan" is based on the manga series of the same name, which was serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021. The story revolves around humanity's desperate struggle against Titans who devour humans, focusing on Eren, who dreams of the world beyond the walls, the cool and skilled Mikasa, and the intellectual Armin, members of the Survey Corps.

The manga has sold over 140 million copies worldwide as of December 2019, and has received numerous awards. It has been adapted into a popular TV anime series and was made into a live-action film starring Haruma Miura in 2015. A Hollywood live-action film adaptation has also been announced.
