The first broadcast will feature scenes from past series leading up to the Perfect Chojin Shiso Arc, including the Monster Extermination Arc, Chojin Olympics Arc, Seven Devil Chojin Arc, Golden Mask Arc, Dream Chojin Tag Arc, and Kinniku Throne Contest Arc, newly animated for the first time in about 30 years as Reiwa-era Kinnikuman. With his marriage to Bibinba imminent, Kinnikuman returns to Earth for some reason. Reflecting on his past and engaging in intense sparring with his ally Terryman, Kinnikuman reminisces about his days of fierce battles.

"Kinnikuman" is a fighting manga based on professional wrestling, following the superhuman "Kinnikuman" Suguru Kinniku and his allies as they battle formidable foes in the ring. The story depicts Kinnikuman, a clumsy and foolish superhuman from the planet Kinniku, growing into the strongest fighter in the superhuman world through effort, friendship, and victory. The work is a collaborative debut by Yudetamago (original work by Takashi Shimada and art by Yoshinori Nakai), serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from May 1979 to May 1987. Subsequently, from 1998, the spin-off "Kinnikuman Nisei," featuring Kinnikuman's son, Mantaro Kinniku, was serialized in "Weekly Playboy." The original "Kinnikuman" resumed serialization in 2011 after a 24-year hiatus, with the comic series surpassing 77 million copies in circulation.

The TV anime aired from April 1983 to October 1986 and from October 1991 to September 1992, achieving an average viewership rating of 20%. Seven movies were produced, and the character eraser "Kinkeshi" sold over 200 million units, becoming a massive hit.

The new anime is the first in 18 years since the third season of the 2006 TV anime "Kinnikuman Nisei." Production I.G is in charge of the animation. The Perfect Chojin Shiso Arc continues from the Kinniku Throne Contest Arc, one of the most popular episodes in the original series. Mamoru Miyano voices Kinnikuman, and Akira Kamiya voices Kinnikuman Mayumi / Prince Kamehame.

Episode 0 "Kinnikuman Forever... And" Synopsis

Having defeated his greatest enemy, Super Phoenix, Kinnikuman is set to inherit the Kinniku Throne and return to his home planet. However, with his marriage to Bibinba approaching, he unexpectedly heads back to Earth. His destination is the familiar Kinnikuman House in Denenchofu, Tokyo, where his former comrades have gathered. Kinnikuman, engaging in intense sparring with his ally Terryman under the guise of a "wedding celebration," reflects on their past encounters and the nostalgic days of fierce battles.
