"Kinnikuman" is a wrestling-based combat manga featuring the titular character, Kinnikuman Suguru, a superhero who transcends humanity, fighting alongside his fellow Justice Superhumans against formidable foes in the ring. The story follows the clumsy and foolish Kinnikuman, an outcast from the planet Kinniku, as he overcomes hardships, forges friendships, and achieves victories, eventually growing into the strongest fighter in the superhuman wrestling world. The series is a collaborative debut work by Yudetamago (writer Takashi Shimada and artist Yoshinori Nakai), serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from May 1979 to May 1987, then continued in "Weekly Playboy" from 1998 with "Kinnikuman Nisei," featuring Kinnikuman's son, Mantaro, and resumed the original "Kinnikuman" serialization in 2011 after 24 years, with the comic series surpassing 77 million copies in circulation. The TV anime aired from April 1983 to October 1986 and from October 1991 to September 1992, enjoying an average viewership of 20% and spawning seven movies. The "Kinkeshi" erasers became a massive craze, selling over 200 million units. The new anime marks the first installment since the third season of "Kinnikuman Nisei" in 2006, 18 years later, with animation production by Production I.G. The Perfect Origin Arc continues from the previously televised Throne of Planet Kinniku Arc and features popular episodes from the manga, with Mamoru Miyano as Kinnikuman and Akira Kamiya as Kinnikuman Mayumi/Prince Kamehame.

Daisuke Ono (Terryman):
"The series we all grew up with as kids. Even now as adults, the topic of Kinnikuman gets us incredibly excited. Just laughing out loud, thrusting an arm up with a 'Kekeke-', or shouting 'Urara-' was enough to make friends. Laughing foolishly, clashing with all our might, and getting heated without any logic. The dubbing studio is overflowing with the friendship power of the cast. I will pour all the passionate feelings I received from Kinnikuman into Terryman."

Katsuyuki Konishi (Robin Mask):
"I've been reading 'Kinnikuman' since I was a child, excited and thrilled every week. I bought a lot of Kinkeshi. To think that there's a timeline where I get to be part of Kinnikuman, and even more, as the leader of the Justice Superhuman team, Robin Mask! I couldn't be more honored, and at the same time, I'm feeling tremendous pressure. In this Reiwa era, we are all working together to deliver the best entertainment to everyone! Please, give 'Kinnikuman' your support! Don't miss it!!"

Yūki Kaji (Warsman):
"This time, I am honored to voice Warsman in 'Kinnikuman: The Perfect Origin Arc.' Honestly, I can hardly believe I'm making this announcement. It feels like a dream. As a child, playing a Famicom game with my father, Kinnikuman and his friends were heroes to everyone, and to me. Warsman's design and strength were particularly captivating, even to a child. Now, thirty-some years later, I never imagined I'd become a voice actor and actually audition for this! It felt like a memorial exam (though I gave it my all, of course), and I was stunned beyond belief when I passed. After months and multiple dubbing sessions, the reality is finally settling in, and with the broadcast date approaching, I'm filled with nervousness and anticipation. But at the same time, I'm confident I've done everything I can as Warsman. With gratitude to the staff who chose me... now, it's time for the audience to receive the work. Please fully enjoy 'Kinnikuman,' brilliantly revived in the Reiwa era. I pray that both long-time fans and new ones will enjoy it thoroughly!"

Tomokazu Seki (Ramenman):
"When I was in elementary school, I was hit by the huge boom of Kinnikuman turning into an anime again – it made my heart leap! The younger me who was obsessed with collecting Kinkeshi and playing Kinnikuman would be shocked! I can't believe I'm voicing Ramenman! As a member of the Justice Superhumans, I want to perform passionately and intensely, true to the younger me. The recording studio felt like everyone had returned to their childhood, making it a lively and fun place! Please look forward to the broadcast!"

Jun Kasama (Brocken Jr.):
"My first encounter with Kinnikuman was during elementary school through reruns on evening TV. I played with Kinkeshi and Muscle Tag Match, imitated the moves of Justice Superhumans that I couldn't actually do, and longed for beef bowls I couldn't eat at restaurants back then. To me, Brocken Jr. has become the character whose impression has changed the most over the years. Compared to other superhumans with overwhelming strength, his approach to overcoming adversity and achieving victory resonates more now that I'm an adult. It's a realism that can only be appreciated as an adult, yet he never forgets the 'pride' of the Brocken family or his own 'smartness.' I love Brocken Jr. truly. The recording site was filled with admired seniors, and I often felt overwhelmed, wondering what I could do among such talented and experienced seniors. Yet, each time, Brocken's figure inspired me to face challenges with the spirit of 'staking everything!' I hope this Reiwa era's Kinnikuman and Brocken Jr. will reach many hearts. Here comes the Red Rain of Berlin!"

Kensho Ono (Geronimo):
"I'm Kensho Ono, and I've been cast as Geronimo. I never dreamed I'd be a part of Kinnikuman! Sometimes I still wonder if it's all just a dream. I'll do my best to convey the excitement of wrestling, the spirit of friendship, effort, and victory, and to become a hero for the children! Please support me!!!"

Hiroki Yasumoto (Buffaloman):
"Kinnikuman, a series that young Hiroki Yasumoto dearly loved and continued to be a hot topic even as an adult. To think that I would be able to participate in its world. I'm truly happy from the bottom of my heart. Moreover, to play the much-talked-about superhuman, Buffaloman, is the utmost joy. I aim to fulfill my role without cutting corners. Thank you for your support."

Shun'ya Miyata (Black Hole):
"I'm honored to play the role of Black Hole. Kinnikuman has a long history, so I felt a lot of pressure, but by talking to Kinnikuman fans close to me and revisiting the original work from scratch, I've faced it with my own study and preparation. In order to bring out Black Hole's dark hero vibe, I've had many discussions with the director and staff to develop the character. I've lost my voice and sweated through recordings, becoming one with Black Hole, so please look forward to it."

Tetsuya Kakihara (Stereo Cassette King): "I'm Tetsuya Kakihara, and I'll be playing Stereo Cassette King. I mimicked various characters' acting. Since it's Stereo Cassette, does it become a recording? He's a somewhat cute guy after all. Please support him!"

Hiroyuki Yoshino (Springman):
"Being from the generation that read the original work and still personally feeling more like an observer than a participant... I did record for it, though. It was the role of a superhuman. I'm grateful for this connection."

Kishō Taniyama (Mr. Khamen):
"As someone squarely in the middle generation and as a voice actor, I felt I absolutely had to be involved with Kinnikuman, and I'm extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity. Perhaps being somewhat handsome despite being weak is a small consolation. I'll play a flashy supporting role."

Yasuhiro Mamiya (Atlantis):
"Kekekeke! I, Yasuhiro Mamiya, will be voicing Atlantis, one of the 7 Devil Supermen! Watching 'the battle where Robin Mask was buried at Shinobazu Pond' on NTV as a kid without any pubic hair, I loved the superhuman master-apprentice duo of Robin Mask and Warsman. And now, nearly 40 years later, to play the hated Atlantis who gave me trauma at that time, I can't help but feel the romance! In 'The Perfect Origin Arc,' I fight against 'Perfect Large Numbers Army's Merlinman,' a knockoff swordfish-looking guy, in the Thames River in England. Of course, my signature moves, 'Atlantis Driver' and 'Water Arts St. Helens Eruption,' are roaring! What? You guys want to support me? Oh, come on, you idiots, 'Supporting a devil won't make you a decent adult!' So, in July 2024, don't miss the TV anime 'Kinnikuman: The Perfect Origin Arc'!"

Hikaru Kanuka (The Ninja):
"When I heard about 'Kinnikuman' from my manager, I immediately said, 'I definitely want to be in it!' I'm exactly the right age for Kinnikuman, engrossed in its manga, anime, movies, games, Kinkeshi, figures, etc. To be able to participate in 'Kinnikuman' I love so much, 'Now I'm part of that world!' I was truly excited, and I still am! I play one of the 7 Devil Supermen, 'The Ninja.' Please enjoy 'Kinnikuman: The Perfect Origin Arc'! I'm looking forward to it as a fan myself! It's going to be interesting! Let's all hype up the world of 'Kinnikuman' together! Mountain—Drop!!!!!"

Toshio Furukawa (Chairman):
"From July, the TV anime 'Kinnikuman: The Perfect Origin Arc' will start broadcasting. Following 'Kinnikuman Nisei' where I voiced Suguru, in this new series, I will be playing the role of the 'Chairman.' Being able to participate in an anime with the big title 'Kinnikuman' adds another significant layer to my career as a voice actor. Moreover, this series, in addition to the illustrious voice actors who have appeared in previous Kinnikuman series, will feature a mix of mid-career and young talents, which I believe is one of its highlights. Please look forward to 'Kinnikuman: The Perfect Origin Arc,' which has evolved in story, visuals, music, acting, and direction. 'Enjoy~♪'"
