In the 18th episode (42nd overall) of the second season of the TV anime 'Jujutsu Kaisen', which aired late at night on December 23, voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda, who voices the character Nanami, updated his social media page after the broadcast with interesting content.

In this episode, titled 'Ri-Hi', the character Sukuna wreaks havoc in the town of Shibuya, resulting in numerous casualties and the defeat of Fushiguro's Shikigami. Itadori, waking up to this chaos, is seen walking with a heavy heart and a determined expression.

Amidst the turmoil, an exhausted Nanami, surrounded by transformed people she is trying to exorcise, encounters Mahito. In a poignant moment, Nanami tells Itadori, 'I'll leave the rest to you', setting the stage for the ensuing battle between Itadori and Mahito.

Post-broadcast, Tsuda shared on social media a photo of his slightly worn script for episode 42, highlighting the memorable line 'I'll leave the rest to you'.

'Jujutsu Kaisen', based on the manga series that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018, is a dark fantasy story. It follows high school student Itadori Yuji, who is drawn into a world of battling curses after the seal of a potent 'cursed object' is broken.

The manga has sold over 80 million copies. The TV anime, which aired from October 2020 to March 2009, skyrocketed in popularity. This success was followed by a theatrical anime adaptation in December 2021 and a second TV anime season from July to December 2023.

Episode 42 Synopsis:

Sukuna destroys the streets of Shibuya, leading to numerous casualties and the defeat of Fushiguro's Shikigami. Itadori, upon awakening, is faced with this grim reality. With a sorrowful yet determined look, he moves forward. Meanwhile, Nanami, fatigued and disoriented, continues to fight against the horde of transformed people, until she encounters Mahito.
