The newly released key visual showcases 13 characters in total. In addition to Beryl and the established members of the Kingdom's Knights and Magicians' Guild, several newcomers from the second season are depicted. These include members of the Verdeapis Mercenary Group such as Hanoy Cressa, Kuriu Rybark, and Prim, along with the mysterious mercenary White Maiden. The visual also features Morris Pasyushka, the Pope of the Sphene religion from Sphend Yardvania, signaling the start of an expansive new conflict.

Unicorn, the band responsible for the opening theme, shared their thoughts on the track. They mentioned that they visualized the "old man" protagonist as a leaf that gains a beautiful color over time. Additionally, they noted that since modern viewers often use skip buttons for openings, they composed a song that begins and ends with vocals to capture the audience's attention immediately.
Based on the novel series by Shigeru Sagazaki with illustrations by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima, From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman is a classic sword-fighting fantasy that has surpassed 9 million copies in total circulation, including its manga adaptation by Kazuki Sato and two spin-off titles. The first season of the TV anime premiered in April 2025 and was streamed exclusively worldwide on Prime Video, garnering significant international attention.
