The second season of the TV anime From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman has officially been announced and is scheduled to air in 2026. The news was revealed following the final episode of the first season on the 21st. Alongside the announcement, celebratory messages from the original light novel author Shigeru Sagazaki and illustrator Tetsuhiro Nabeshima were released. Additionally, the Blu-ray volumes for the first season, packed with premium bonuses, have also been confirmed for release.
