Story Overview

Haibara’s Teenage New Game Plus is a school romantic comedy about realistically reliving a second youth with the advantage of experience. Natsuki Haibara is a young man on the verge of employment who once failed at his high school debut and spent his teenage years in a gray and regret filled youth.
One day, he suddenly time leaps from his fourth year of university back to just before entering high school. Given the chance to redo his regretful past, Natsuki begins his Rainbow Youth Plan to rewrite his gray youth into something colorful. Using his past experiences, he joins the top tier group of attractive and popular classmates and grows closer to the girl he once admired.
However, the vibrant youth he longed for is not filled with joy alone. As new challenges and emotional conflicts arise, the question remains whether Natsuki can truly relive and reclaim the youth he dreamed of.
Cast Comments

■Kanna Nakamura as Miori Motomiya
-Impression of the Work
This series portrays a very real sense of youth. While it has sparkling and bright moments, it also realistically depicts the emotional complexity of sensitive high school students. The characters are all struggling with their own problems and desperately living in the present, which makes you want to support every single one of them. It also evokes a strong sense of nostalgia in many ways.
-Impression of the Character and Enthusiasm
Miori Motomiya is someone who treats everyone equally and supports Natsuki when he is struggling. She is a dependable character, but she also has age appropriate sides to her personality. I want to carefully portray her emotional changes in each moment and give my all to expressing youth within this story.

Aya Yamane
■Aya Yamane as Uta Sakura
-Impression of the Work
I think this is a series that depicts the characters’ honest pain and straightforward emotions in a very grounded way. The story begins with a situation many people have dreamed of at least once, reliving high school while carrying past regrets, but it is not an easy redo. The clashes and moments of support feel raw and deeply moving. I believe viewers will come away wanting to live each day without regret.
-Impression of the Character and Enthusiasm
Uta is a bright, energetic, and straightforward girl, but deep down she has a delicate side and tends to bottle things up. There are moments where she reads the atmosphere and holds herself back, putting her true feelings second. I focused on expressing that gap clearly in my performance. I will do my best so that everyone can come to love her kind and earnest nature.

Sayumi Suzushiro
■Sayumi Suzushiro as Yuino Nanase
-Impression of the Work
Looking back, there are moments you realize were part of your youth, yet at the time you often think you could have done things differently. Many people have probably wished they could relive those days, and this story captures that feeling beautifully. Watching Haibara work hard to redo his gray youth made me want to cheer him on. The other characters are also very memorable, and their interactions are a joy to watch. The romantic developments surrounding Haibara are especially captivating.
-Impression of the Character and Enthusiasm
I am Sayumi Suzushiro, and I will be voicing Yuino Nanase. Yuino gives off a reliable older sister vibe as she watches over everyone, but with her close friend Hikari, you can clearly feel their strong bond as best friends. She may seem calm, but she also has an unexpectedly cute side. I hope you enjoy discovering that during the broadcast. Please watch over whether Haibara can truly achieve his rainbow youth.
