Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 5 has unveiled its first footage with the release of a teaser visual. Alongside the reveal, it was announced that the opening theme will be performed by Sora Amamiya, while the ending theme will be handled by the live band nakigoto.

The promotional video opens with a monologue by Kazuya Kinoshita, reflecting that he never imagined his lie filled rental girlfriend life would one day come to an end. As on screen text signals the conclusion of the Hawaiians Arc, scenes featuring serious expressions from Mami Nanami, Ruka Sarashina, and Chizuru Mizuhara unfold in a tense atmosphere.

In the final moments of the video, a scene appears to show Kazuya and Chizuru sharing a kiss, leaving a strong impression and further heightening anticipation for the story of Season 5.

Theme Songs and Artist Comments

The opening theme, Non Scenario Etude, is performed by Sora Amamiya, who voices Chizuru Mizuhara in the series. Notably, Amamiya also wrote and composed the song herself. This marks her first time contributing an original composition as a theme song tie in, making the project particularly meaningful for her.

The ending theme, 204 Goshitsu, is performed by nakigoto, a live band known for expressing emotions that are difficult to put into words and the struggles of everyday life through carefully chosen lyrics and pop driven soundscapes. Based on the manga by Reiji Miyajima, Rent A Girlfriend follows Kazuya Kinoshita, a hopeless college student living in Tokyo, who falls in love with the stunning rental girlfriend Chizuru Mizuhara.
