Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 5 Announced! Set for 2026 Broadcast with New Key Visual by Character Designer Kanna Hirayama

The TV anime Rent-A-Girlfriend has announced that Season 5, covering the second cour of the Hawaiians Arc, will air in 2026.

The series’ fourth season has been airing and streaming since July 2025. It had already been revealed that the Hawaiians Arc would span two cours. Now, it is confirmed that the second cour will serve as Season 5 and is scheduled for a 2026 release.

Alongside the announcement, a brand-new illustration drawn by character designer Kanna Hirayama was unveiled. The visual features Kazuya and Chizuru dressed in outfits inspired by the Hawaiians Arc, with chibi-style depictions of Mami Nanami, Ruka Sarashina, Sumi Sakurasawa, and Mini Yaemori surrounding them.

Soundtrack Now Streaming

Additionally, from September 20 at 12:00 p.m. JST, the soundtracks from Rent-A-Girlfriend Seasons 1 through 3 became available on various streaming platforms (with some services releasing at midnight on September 21). Fans can now enjoy the many iconic tracks composed by Hyadain that brought unforgettable scenes of the “girlfriends” to life.
