Episode 1 Story
First-year high school student Yoi Takiguchi is often called a “prince” by her classmates due to her refined looks and composed demeanor, despite being a girl. While harboring complicated feelings about that label, she encounters Kohaku Ichimura, an upperclassman who is also known at school as another “prince.” When Kohaku casually tells her, “You’re incredibly beautiful,” Yoi is left flustered by the unfamiliar attention.
That evening, Yoi steps in to help a female convenience store clerk who is being harassed by a customer, only to find Kohaku coincidentally nearby. Taking Yoi by the hand, Kohaku leads her away to a park, where the two end up alone together. As Yoi’s heart continues to race, Kohaku makes an unexpected move that leaves her even more unsettled.

Yoi Takiguchi, a first-year high school student, is someone everyone admires. With a well-balanced appearance and a straightforward heart, “rather than a princess, a hero or a prince suits her better” — that is what both she herself and those around her have always thought.
“I’m not being a prince because I like it or anything…”
But one day, another “prince” appears. A single remark from Kohaku Ichimura, a senior at the same school, begins to shake Yoi’s world.
“…You’re unbelievably beautiful.”
As the distance between them suddenly closes, what begins to take root between the two — is it friendship, or love…?
A coming-of-age youth love story woven by a boy and a girl who are both called “princes.”
