Reunion in the Northern Travels Arc

In the Northern Empire arc of the original manga, beginning around chapter 136, Sein reunites with Frieren and her companions. While searching for Gorilla Warrior on his own, he senses an emergency signal caused by Frieren’s magic and rushes to their aid.

During this reunion, Sein once again demonstrates his exceptional abilities. He saves Stark after he is struck by a poisoned arrow using Goddess magic and provides calm, accurate analysis of the battlefield, helping identify the enemy’s command structure. His advice contributes directly to Fern’s victory.

True to his character, Sein humorously laments that the parties he traveled with in the meantime consisted only of rough men and no older women, showing that his personality remains unchanged despite the hardships of his journey.
