The global Dragon Ball character popularity vote has unveiled the results of its third stage, revealing major ranking shifts and a surprising rise for Yamcha. As the competition intensifies in the DRAGON BALL THE ONE project, fans around the world are closely following each update.

Trunks (future) holds sixth place, Bardock is seventh, Android 18 is eighth, Cell is ninth, and Bulma stands at tenth. Bulma recorded a significant jump in ranking compared to her eighteenth place in the second stage’s interim results.

The newly announced rankings place Son Goku in first, followed by Vegeta in second, Son Gohan in third, Piccolo in fourth, and Vegito in fifth. Sixth place goes to Trunks (future), seventh to Bardock, eighth to Cell, ninth to Android 18, and in a surprising turn, Yamcha has jumped into tenth place.

Rankings from eleventh downward include Frieza in eleventh, Bulma in twelfth, Chi Chi in thirteenth, Krillin in fourteenth, Tien Shinhan in fifteenth, the Brief family’s black cat in sixteenth, Goten in seventeenth, Videl in eighteenth, Raditz in nineteenth, and Launch in twentieth.

The stage saw dramatic shifts, with Yamcha moving into the top ten while characters such as Android 18 and Bulma experienced a drop in ranking.

A total of 212 characters from the original Dragon Ball manga are eligible. Fans in Japan and across the globe may cast one vote per day via the special voting website throughout the voting period.

The vote is structured across four stages, with the number of eligible characters decreasing as the stages progress. After each stage concludes, a revival vote is held on X, where one character is brought back and allowed to advance to the next round.

The final rankings will be announced during a special livestream on the official Dragon Ball YouTube channel at noon on January 24, 2026.
