Episode 43 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (Kimi to Idol Prett Cure, キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. This Episode will air on Sunday, December 7, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 43 Story

Kaito Hibiki’s live concert ends in success, but the appearance of the Idol Pretty Cures and Darkrand catches the attention of many in the audience, quickly becoming major news.

Worried that their identities might be exposed, Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) tries to lift everyone’s spirits with a song. At that moment, the president of a talent agency who happens to be visiting Café Glitter is deeply moved by her singing and offers her the chance to debut as an idol.

The next day at school, when asked what she plans to do, Uta replies, “If I can make people sparkle and shine like Kaito-san does, I’d be so happy.” Encouraged by her friends’ supportive words, Uta makes up her mind: “I want to become an idol!”

Just as she starts to sing a greeting to thank the president she’ll be working with, he suddenly crosses his arms in an X shape...

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
