Episode 41 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (Kimi to Idol Prett Cure, キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. This Episode will air on Sunday, November 23, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 41 Story

As the time approaches to elect the next student council president, Kokoro Shigure (voiced by Natsumi Takamori) is busy with activities in the Idol Pretty Cure Research Club. Suddenly, Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and Nana Aokaze (voiced by Minami Takahashi) rush into the room with alarming news — Chiyo Kai, one of the candidates, has pledged to abolish the Idol Pretty Cure Research Club if elected.

Kokoro attends Chiyo’s campaign speech and directly asks why she plans to shut down the club. Chiyo explains that the club “hasn’t produced any tangible results.” Determined to prove the club’s worth, Kokoro pleads for her to reconsider.

To demonstrate their dedication, the members showcase what they’ve created — the Idol Pretty Cure fanbook, handmade cheering goods like uchiwa fans and can badges, and even their practiced cheer routines. Despite their efforts, Chiyo remains unconvinced, stating, “I still don’t understand what kind of results come from cheering.”

Since Chiyo is the only candidate, she will automatically become president — meaning the club’s disbandment is all but certain. As everyone falls into despair, Kokoro suddenly comes up with an idea and dashes out of the clubroom. The next morning, when Uta and the others arrive at school, they find something surprising waiting for them...

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
