Episode 37 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (Kimi to Idol Prett Cure, キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. This Episode will air on Sunday, October 19, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 37 Story

In the October 19 broadcast, titled “A New Power! Idol Heart Ribbon!”, Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and her friends celebrate the success of their recent live performance at a café when they receive a message from Tanaka asking for help at the Pretty Store. As they head out, Kaito Hibiki happens to pass by. Encouraged by her friends, Uta runs after him.

Later, when Uta arrives at the Pretty Store, Nana Aokaze (voiced by Minami Takahashi) notices that she seems lost in thought. After closing, Nana asks, “Did you get to talk to Kaito?” Uta explains that she couldn’t bring herself to call out to him because he looked so lonely. Hearing everyone say that perhaps it’s hard for a “legendary idol” like Kaito to share his troubles, Uta dashes off once again to find him.

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
