In the September 28 broadcast, Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and her younger brother Hamori help out at Café Glitter when they discover an old menu from the café’s early days. Upon opening it, they find one entry completely blacked out. They can tell it begins with “O” and ends with “gu,” but neither their father Kazu nor their mother Oto can recall why it was erased.
Later, while Uta and her friends are puzzling over the erased dish in her room, Hamori appears dressed like a detective, imitating a character from the anime Zundoko Detective, which he’s recently become obsessed with. Teaming up with his partner Kyutarou, Hamori grabs a magnifying glass and the mysterious menu to begin investigating. As Uta and the others follow, they encounter Ema, a regular at Café Glitter, who suggests they ask the café’s longest-standing patron for answers about the old menu…
