Episode 38 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (Kimi to Idol Prett Cure, キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. This Episode will air on Sunday, October 26, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

Episode 39 Story

One evening, Kokoro Shigure (voiced by Natsumi Takamori) is on her way home from school when she happens upon Odoru Sunda, a third-year student who once invited her to join the dance club, practicing by himself.

However, while performing an intense spin and leap, Odoru collapses upon landing. Startled, Kokoro rushes over, and as he regains consciousness, Odoru confides that he’s determined to win the Dancing Star Cup. He soon gets back to his training.

The next day, after hearing Kokoro’s story, Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and her friends discover that the founder of the Dancing Star Cup was also someone named Sunda. Curious, they ask Odoru about it and learn the meaning behind his passion for the competition. Moved by his dedication, Kokoro and the others decide to help Odoru with his special training.

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
