The 22nd installment of the Pretty Cure franchise, You and Idol Pretty Cure♪ (Kimi to Idol Precure♪, or KimiPuri), has announced a special event titled “You and Idol Pretty Cure♪ Thanksgiving Festival,” set to take place on February 14 and 15, 2026, at Kanadevia Hall (TOKYO DOME CITY HALL).

The event will serve as the grand finale for the idol-themed Pretty Cure series, where the “Idol Pretty Cures” who sing, dance, interact with fans, and fight to protect smiles will bring the venue to life in a dazzling, heartfelt celebration.

A teaser visual was also revealed alongside the announcement, featuring the catchphrase “Together with You (JP: 「キミ」と一緒に。).” It depicts the five heroines standing on a stage surrounded by a sea of glowing penlights, with cherry blossoms fluttering around them — a warm yet bittersweet visual that perfectly captures the series’ spirit.

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
