Episode 38 of You and Idol Pretty Cure (Kimi to Idol Prett Cure, キミとアイドルプリキュア♪), the 22nd installment in the Pretty Cure anime series, has released its story preview and early scene stills. This Episode will air on Sunday, October 26, at 8:30 AM on Japanese TV, followed by international streaming on various platforms.

The synopsis and preview stills for Episode 38 of You and Idol Pretty Cure♪ (ABC TV/TV Asahi Network, airing Sundays at 8:30 a.m.) have been released.

The 38th episode, titled “Taking a Step Together! WIN-WIN Halloween!”, airs on October 26. After school, Uta Sakura (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) and her friends gather at Café Glitter as usual. However, when Uta sees the Halloween version of Tanaka’s (voiced by Tanakhan) banana muffins (complete with a ghost decoration) she suddenly dashes outside. It turns out Uta has always been terrified of ghosts, making it hard for her to enjoy Halloween.

Even so, Uta admits she wants to have fun dressing up and going trick-or-treating. Seeing her determination, Kokoro Shigure (voiced by Natsumi Takamori) suggests that they all enter the costume contest being held in Hanamichi Town. Though Uta is scared and hesitant, Nana Aokaze (voiced by Minami Takahashi), who was also shy about joining at first, invites her by saying, “Let’s do it together.” The group decides to enter the contest as one.

About You and Idol Pretty Cure

The theme of You and Idol Pretty Cure revolves around idols. With the belief that "Because you're here, I can shine and become stronger!", the Pretty Cure idols sing, dance, and engage with fans, using their performances to restore Kirakira to those who have lost it.

The story follows Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student who loves to sing. One day, she meets Purirun, a fairy searching for the Idol Pretty Cure, the legendary savior of Kirakiland. Kirakiland has been plunged into darkness by Darkine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang.

As the Chokkiri Gang begins stealing the Kirakira from townspeople, a desperate Uta declares, "I want to bring back the Kirakkiranran feeling! With my song!" Her determination resonates, and she transforms into the legendary Cure Idol.
