"Kaiju No. 8 Exhibition" in September: Bonus Details Revealed, "Japan Defense Force Visual Cards" by Day of the Week
The first exhibition of the manga "Kaiju No. 8," titled "Kaiju No. 8 Exhibition," will be held from September 13 to November 10 at Tokyo Dome City Gallery AaMo.
As a special bonus for attendees, the "Japan Defense Force Visual Card" featuring newly drawn illustrations by Naoya Matsumoto will be distributed on a day-of-the-week basis. The "ID card side" has been previewed, with the reverse side to be revealed at a later date. General ticket sales (first-come, first-served) will begin at 11 a.m. on July 13. Tickets for the opening day on September 13 will require a complete time-specified reservation, with advance lottery sales starting at 11 a.m. on June 22 on the e-plus sales page.
The story is set in Japan, which has one of the highest rates of kaiju appearances in the world. It follows the 32-year-old protagonist, Kafka Hibino, whose body transforms into a kaiju as he fights as a member of the Defense Force. The manga is serialized on Shonen Jump+ and is currently being adapted into a TV anime.
