The official website of the TV anime "Kijin Gentosho," which was scheduled to air from July, was updated on the 5th to announce the postponement of its broadcast.

The "Kijin Gentosho" production committee reported, "The TV anime 'Kijin Gentosho,' which was scheduled to air from July 2024, will be postponed due to production delays."

Furthermore, they stated, "We plan to air it domestically for two consecutive cours in 2025. We will promptly inform you of the details once they are decided."

They also sought understanding, saying, "We deeply apologize to everyone who has been looking forward to the broadcast for the inconvenience and concern this may cause. We are committed to delivering the work in a better form. We kindly ask for your understanding."

"Kijin Gentosho" is a Japanese-style epic fantasy that depicts the story of a demon traveling through an extraordinary time span of 170 years, from the Edo period to the Heisei era. The original work is by Motoo Nakanishi (Futaba Bunko). The animation is produced by Yokohama Animation Lab. The announced cast includes Taku Yashiro, Reina Ueda, Saori Hayami, Hiroshi Shirokuma, and Yui Kondo.
