'The Story of the Girl Who Couldn't Become a Wizard' PV Released: Double Heroines Played by Hana Hishikawa & Misuzu Yamada, Former Classmates from Training School

Along with this, an exclusive key visual illustrated by original character designer Lily Hoshino, character visuals by character designer Mai Matsuura, and the first PV were released. The music used in the PV is composed by Yoko Shimomura and others. This original TV animation was born from the Project ANIMA initiative. The story follows Kurumi Mirai (voiced by Hana Hishikawa), a naive girl who dreams of becoming a wizard, and Yuzu Edel (voiced by Misuzu Yamada), a young lady from a distinguished family known for producing wizards for generations. Both fail the entrance exam for the Lettran School of Magic, the National Wizard Training Academy's specialized program, and lose sight of their childhood dreams, moving on to the General Course instead. Can these two girls, with opposite personalities and backgrounds, become wizards in the general course?

The original character design is by Lily Hoshino, known for her beautiful and distinctive style in works like "Otome Yokai Zakuro" and "Mawaru Penguindrum." The animation character design is by Mai Matsuura, who has worked on popular series such as "Arcana Famiglia," "KING OF PRISM," and "Bakuman." The released PV showcases the contrasting personalities of the naive Kurumi and the cool Yuzu. Kurumi faces the entrance ceremony in despair after losing her childhood dream of becoming a wizard. Meanwhile, Yuzu, who throws seemingly cold words, also shows a moment of sadness. The magic tools depicted in the nostalgic, light watercolor touch add a unique charm to this magical academy fantasy.
