This new project consists of two parts: the "Reminiscence Arc," which revisits the TV series and "Zegapain ADP," and the "Altamoda Arc," which continues beyond the final episode of the TV series. The key visual featuring Kyo, Ryoko, Shizuno, and Harvalt has been released, along with a full trailer introducing new characters Giten (voiced by Takuma Terashima), Seft (Yuka Terasaki), Milhi (Tomoyo Kurosawa), Basfota (Yui Ishikawa), Sid (Natsuki Hanae), and Toya (Tomokazu Sugita).

"Zegapain" originally aired on TV Tokyo and other networks from April to September 2006, spanning 26 episodes. The story follows Kyo, a lively swimmer and high school student in the suburbs of Maihama, Chiba Prefecture. His ordinary life, filled with romance and friendship, is upended when he meets a mysterious transfer student named Shizuno and gets drawn into battles with giant robots in an alternate world. As Kyo navigates these battles, he encounters numerous questions and ultimately fights to protect himself and his friends. The series gained popularity for its intricate world-building, complex character relationships, and dazzling battle scenes featuring translucent robots rendered in 3DCG.
