The remake of the game "SILENT HILL 2" is set to be released on PlayStation 5 and Steam on October 8, 2024.

"SILENT HILL 2," originally released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, is a psychological horror game. The protagonist, James, explores the desolate town of Silent Hill, a place of memories with his late wife Mary. Throughout his journey, he encounters various creatures and characters, confronting his past memories.

In this remake, the original game is enhanced with modern technology, improving graphics and sound to offer an immersive gameplay experience. Additionally, the game features expanded exploration areas, an over-the-shoulder camera perspective, an updated combat system, and new cutscenes. These updates aim to make the game enjoyable for both those who have played the original and new players alike.

In the globally streamed program "SILENT HILL Transmission" today, approximately 13 minutes of gameplay footage were released, along with interviews with the two main cast members portraying James and Mary/Maria.
