Bandai’s Toy Division will release the revival version of "Shuku Keitai Kaitsu! Tamagotchi Plus," called "Tamagotchi Connection," worldwide.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, "Tamagotchi Connection" (4 models, ¥3960 each) will be released in Japan from August 3rd. Available at toy stores, accessory shops, apparel shops, electronics retailers, Tamagotchi official shops, and online. Targeting not only fans from their 20s and 30s but also teenagers enjoying Y2K fashion. It will be released in Europe and the U.S. on July 9th.

The product retains the antenna feature from the 2004 "Shuku Keitai Kaitsu! Tamagotchi Plus" model. Redesigned in Reiwa style, it comes in four popular designs: "Light Blue," "Pink," "Flower," and "Melon Soda." A ball chain is added for easy carrying.

Players can enjoy nostalgic nurturing play, play games, feed, and treat sick Tamagotchis. Depending on how they are raised, they evolve into various characters. Earn "Gocchi Points" to collect over 150 items. Infrared communication allows for games, presents, and visits, enabling Tamagotchis to become partners and create new generations. Familiar characters like "Mametchi," "Kuchipatchi," and "Memetchi" along with over 50 popular characters from the past can be raised.

This fall, the design for the second series of "Tamagotchi Connection" will be decided by user votes. The voting period is from July 14th to 31st, with 22 designs to choose from. Additionally, from July 25th, a limited-time Tamagotchi POP UP store, "Mina Shugo! Tamagotchi no Omise," will open in Tokyo, featuring early sales of "Tamagotchi Connection."
