Kamen Rider Kuuga, which sent shockwaves across Japan upon its debut in 2000, returns to the spotlight through this commemorative exhibition. On display are invaluable behind-the-scenes materials that showcase how the series was created. Visitors can see Kuuga’s forms from Growing to Ultimate, along with immersive recreations of key scenes that stir the hearts of longtime fans. Life-sized figures of the Gurongi Tribe are also featured—including a newly crafted monster form of the Rose Tattooed Woman, La Baruba De. The exhibition culminates in a recreation of the intense final battle between Kuuga’s Ultimate Form and N-Daguva-Zeba.

First aired on January 30, 2000, at 8:00 AM, Kamen Rider Kuuga marked the beginning of the Heisei era for the Kamen Rider series. Even after 25 years, it continues to captivate fans. The exhibition will tour Japan’s four major cities—starting with Tokyo in June 2025, followed by Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Osaka. An international expansion into Asia is also planned for 2026.
Joe Odagiri serves as the exhibition’s official navigator and also provides the audio guide, where he reflects on the series through the lens of 25 years. The narration is based on a newly written script by series head writer Toshiki Inoue, making it a special feature that could only be realized after a quarter-century. The guide is accessible to all attendees using their own smartphones or tablets.
