Joe Odagiri Returns for “Super Kuuga” Exhibition as Audio Guide Narrator

The Super Kuuga exhibition, commemorating the 25th anniversary of Kamen Rider Kuuga, has officially announced Joe Odagiri as its special navigator. Odagiri, who played Yusuke Godai/Kamen Rider Kuuga in the original series, will voice the audio guide for the event.

As the series marks a major milestone, Odagiri revisits the role that launched his career. His participation was finalized after numerous discussions with Kamen Rider Kuuga’s original producer, Shinji Takadera (notably written with a ladder-style "Taka" character), who also serves as the supervisor of the exhibition. Together, they explored how to approach the legacy of Kuuga 25 years later, leading to Odagiri’s decision to take on the role of exhibition guide.

Through the audio guide, Odagiri will provide commentary for each section of the exhibition, offering reflections only possible now—two and a half decades after the show aired. The guide's script is a brand-new creation by Naruhisa Arakawa, the main writer for the original series. This special program, which brings together Arakawa’s new script and Odagiri’s narration, is a must-listen for fans.

All attendees of the exhibition will have access to the audio guide, which is available via their personal smartphones or tablets. Further details on how to use the system will be announced later on the exhibition’s official website.

General ticket sales for the Super Kuuga exhibition begin at noon on April 19 (Japan time). The exhibition will run from June 14 to July 6 at Gallery AaMo, located in Tokyo Dome City.
