The highly anticipated original anime Onmyō Kaiten Re:verse will premiere on Fuji TV’s late-night anime block +Ultra on July 2, airing every Wednesday from 24:45 to 25:15 JST. Along with the announcement, a second promotional video (PV) has been released, featuring new footage and four newly announced cast members.

This original TV anime is being produced by david production, the acclaimed studio behind JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Fire Force. The main cast had already been announced, with Taihi Kimura voicing protagonist Takeru Narihira, Maaya Uchida as Tsukimiya, and Ryohei Kimura as the legendary onmyōji Abe no Seimei. Now, the broadcast slot and start date have officially been confirmed.

Story

The story centers on Takeru, a delinquent high school student who, after a tragic accident, is transported to an alternate world known as Denji Heian-kyō. There, he meets Tsukimiya, a mysterious heroine whose life he resolves to save by repeatedly time-leaping to battle the existential threats plaguing the world. In order to gain the power to protect her, Takeru trains under the guidance of legendary onmyōji like Abe no Seimei and undergoes significant personal growth.

New Cast Members:

Kaito Ishikawa as Atsunaga: A top-tier elite onmyōji with remarkable power and experience.

Anna Nagase as Yura: A righteous and courageous female onmyōji, chosen by Atsunaga as his trusted partner due to her outstanding combat skills.

Marina Inoue as Kazura: The older twin brother of Shino, a young prodigy who serves directly under Abe no Seimei.

Chiharu Yoshitake as Shino: The younger sister of Kazura, equally gifted and determined to walk alongside her brother.

The second PV teases Takeru’s transformation and showcases his dynamic relationship with Atsunaga. While harsh and rival-like, their shared goal of protecting the city leads them to fight together.
