Koichi Yamadera voices AHU, a hardboiled super-dog ranked 8th. At the event, he joked, “Sorry for wearing the same style as No.1 despite being ranked 8th!” referencing Miyano’s outfit. He introduced his character by saying, “Although his name is AHU (which means ‘tiger’ in Japanese), he’s a dog. And I take pride in voicing dogs—I won’t lose to anyone! I barked quite a bit this time too. When it comes to barking roles, I believe I’m No.1 among Japanese voice actors!” He proudly referenced his long-time role as a dairy-named dog in a beloved national anime.

Shimazaki plays E-SOUL, a legendary hero continuously supported by the public. His special move, Denkouzan (Lightning Slash), cuts down evil at lightning speed. “His name in Japanese is written with the characters for ‘soul’ and ‘electricity,’ making him ‘Konden,’” Shimazaki explained. “He’s like a tokusatsu hero in a full-body suit, very recognizable and cool.” To avoid spoilers, he invited everyone to yell “Denkouzan!” with him. His fellow cast members teased him: “Are you panicking?” “This has nothing to do with us!” Shimazaki protested, “But we’re all in the same show…” Miyano suddenly called out “Ready, go!” prompting a flustered Shimazaki to join in yelling “Denkouzan!” The audience burst into laughter at the forced call-and-response.
