The latest episode of the anime The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto), Episode 32, is set to air on February 28 at 11:30 PM (JST) as part of Nippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (FuraAni) programming block. The episode synopsis, preview images unveiled.

Rumors spread throughout the harem: “A strange palace maid is catching insects while laughing.” Before she knows it, Maomao becomes the target of suspicion. In an effort to clear her name, she searches for the source of the gossip, Zisui, and questions her about the incident. While doing so, Maomao unexpectedly witnesses the Empress Dowager, Lady An, heading toward the infirmary. Although curious about the purpose of her visit, Maomao reluctantly returns to Gyokuyō Palace. That evening, the Empress Dowager unexpectedly pays her a visit. She then poses an eerie question to Maomao:
"Did I curse the late Emperor?"
With this chilling inquiry, Maomao is tasked with investigating the mysteries surrounding the late Emperor.
