The anime The Apothecary Diaries, currently airing in the FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT slot on Nippon TV, has revealed its February visual as part of the ongoing "Maomao's Seasonal Journey with Jinshi" series. Fans can download wallpapers for PC and smartphones from the official website.

Released on the 22nd of each month—celebrated as "Cat Day" (JP: Nyan Nyan Day)—this special visual series showcases seasonal flowers. The eighth installment, unveiled today, highlights the blooming wintersweet, a harbinger of spring.

The visual captures Jinshi gently reaching out to touch the plum blossoms with a soft smile, while his loyal guard Basen, though ever-watchful, momentarily glances at the swaying blossoms in the breeze. The artwork exudes the warmth of early spring, setting a serene and picturesque scene.

About The Apothecary Diaries

Based on the novel by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Touko Shino, The Apothecary Diaries follows Maomao, a pharmacist's daughter with an obsession for poisons and medicine, and Jinshi, a mysterious yet captivating eunuch. Together, they unravel perplexing incidents within the imperial palace.
