The manga has surpassed 140 million copies sold worldwide and has won numerous manga awards. The TV anime series began airing in 2013, and the final part of the anime’s conclusion aired in November 2023. In 2015, the series was adapted into a live-action movie starring Haruma Miura, and a Hollywood live-action adaptation has also been announced.
