Theatrical Version of 'Attack on Titan' Final Chapter Released: Hange Faces the Rumbling Titans, Mikasa & Levi Stand Against the Final Titan
The main visual and trailer for the upcoming "Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter - THE LAST ATTACK" (in theaters November 8) have been released.
The key visual showcases the Rumbling Titans, symbolizing the final chapter, alongside young Eren spreading his arms towards the blue sky, declaring "I am free...," as the Survey Corps and warriors strive to stop the Rumbling.
The trailer highlights intense and memorable scenes that captivated many Attack on Titan fans during the broadcast, featuring Hange facing the Rumbling Titans, and Mikasa and Levi battling the Final Titan.
The "Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter - THE LAST ATTACK" will be screened in theaters nationwide for a limited three-week run starting November 8. This movie depicts the final battle of the Attack on Titan series and the conclusion of Eren’s story.
Attack on Titan is based on the manga of the same name, which was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) from September 2009 to April 2021. The story follows humanity, living within walls, as they are forced into a desperate battle against man-eating Titans. The dark fantasy series centers on Eren, a member of the Survey Corps who longs for the outside world, along with Mikasa, a cool and skilled female fighter, and Armin, a strategic genius.
The manga has exceeded 140 million copies sold worldwide and has won numerous manga awards. The TV anime adaptation began airing in 2013, with the final chapter (Part 2) set to air in November 2023. Additionally, a live-action film adaptation starring Haruma Miura was released in 2015 (split into two parts), and a Hollywood live-action adaptation has also been announced.
