The anime Ameku Takao's Detective Karte has been confirmed to air starting in January 2025. Along with this announcement, the first promotional video (PV), key visuals, and main cast information have been revealed.

Ayane Sakura (as Takao Ameku)

I’m Ayane Sakura, voicing Takao Ameku. I had read this series before, as it was recommended to me by a fan. I never imagined that this medical mystery genre would be adapted into an anime, nor did I ever think I would get the chance to voice Takao. I’m truly fascinated by how Takao’s world is portrayed through animation. There are also unique tricks that only anime can offer. Despite struggling with the difficult medical terms, I am thoroughly enjoying bringing Takao to life. With Mr. Chinen, Mr. Noizi, and a passionate team of staff and cast members, production is steadily progressing. Please look forward to it!

Kensho Ono (as Yu Takanashi)

I will be voicing Yu Takanashi in the TV anime Ameku Takao's Detective Karte. This work combines medicine and mystery, and I find the complexity of the medical terminology both challenging and rewarding. Yuu, who is training to be an internal medicine doctor, is constantly overwhelmed by Dr. Takao, and much like him, I’ve been keeping up and enjoying the recording process despite being thrown around a bit! I hope you’ll look forward to the broadcast!

Manaka Iwami (as Mai Konoike)

This anime, which combines the rarely seen mix of medicine and mystery, feels like it’s going to be a really interesting project! While there are many serious scenes, Mai-chan is like a burst of energy in the show! I think her dual personality of being serious at work yet cheerful otherwise is part of her charm. I would be delighted if you look forward to the broadcast!

Nana Mizuki (as Mazuru Ameku)

I’ll be playing Mazuru Ameku, Takao’s older sister, who is always concerned for him and watches over him, as he often leaves everyone confused with his genius-driven actions. There’s a lot of complex medical jargon flying around, and during recording, I find myself watching over Ayane and the others, just like Mazuru does (laughs). With the intense deduction and resolution scenes, I hope you’ll find yourself gripping your seat each week!

Fumihiko Tachiki (as Owashi Ameku)

In this anime adaptation of a popular novel, I’ve been cast in a role I haven’t played much recently—an intelligent and strategic gentleman who stands face-to-face with the protagonist, Takao, at the heart of the hospital. While I’m not well-versed in the medical field, I think that unfamiliarity helps me deliver my lines with a fresh perspective and conviction, especially when dealing with technical terminology. I’m focused and dedicated to my scenes, and it’s a joy to be part of a medical drama with such intriguing characters, delivered in anime form.
