New information has been released about the highly anticipated 'HD-2D Remake of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation' (Nintendo Switch, releasing on November 14). A new class, the 'Monster Tamer,' will be introduced.
Additionally, pre-orders for the digital version have started. This remake of 'Dragon Quest III' combines pixel art with 3D CG in HD-2D graphics, and it includes new episodes that reveal more about the protagonist’s father, Ortega, and his journey. The remake will also feature new formidable enemies, allowing players to delve deeper into the story of 'Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.'
The "Dragon Quest" series is an RPG where players become the protagonist of the story, facing off against a demon king who seeks to conquer the world. Since the release of the first "Dragon Quest" developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix in 1986, it has become one of Japan's most iconic game titles.
In the released footage, a message reading "The time has come" is shown at the beginning, accompanied by a mural of the legend of Ramia. The beautifully reborn world of "DQIII" is introduced.
Furthermore, the releases of the original "Dragon Quest" and "Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line" were also announced. The video features a cool presentation where the camera pulls back from an illustration of the hero of "DQIII," revealing the heroes from each game. Be sure to watch the footage.
