Fujiko F. Fujio, who has created many unique stories, remarked, "For me, 'SF' stands not for 'science fiction' but for 'slightly fantastic stories'." "T・P Bon," an adventurous tale of "slightly fantastic" history that both adults and children can enjoy, embodies this philosophy.

A special official fan book, "F Life Extra: T・P Bon - Anime 'T・P Bon' and the World of Fujiko F. Fujio" (Shogakukan), featuring the latest anime and original work, will be released on the same day as the premiere of Season 2, July 17.

Director Takashi Yamazaki of "Godzilla 1.0," which won the Visual Effects Award at the 96th Academy Awards, commented, "'T・P Bon' is about giving people who were supposed to die a chance to redo their lives. A great team is assembled with high-performance machines and equipment to help ordinary people. Helping people who are not involved in history means that history would not be affected if they were not helped. It's a very kind concept despite being able to help only a few."

Mari Yamazaki, the manga artist known for the popular "Thermae Romae," praised Fujiko F. Fujio's passion for history and his humorous depiction of human nature, saying, "He meticulously observes the various phenomena that have occurred throughout human history and portrays not only the admiration of humanity but also its foolishness, with humor. The stories always include love and tolerance among ancient people that are not written in history books, which is the greatness of this work."

Makoto Ueda, a playwright, director, and scriptwriter known for his expertise in time-travel SF such as "Summer Time Machine Blues," said, "'T・P Bon' is a hard yet heartwarming masterpiece of time-travel SF that respects the absoluteness of history while depicting the possibility of individual fate changes. Each story, from historical details to plots and ideas, is truly remarkable."
