The anime, a creation of Fujiko F. Fujio who is known for timeless classics like "Doraemon," "Perman," and "Kiteretsu Daihyakka," dives into a sci-fi adventure. It is animated by Bones, known globally for their work on "My Hero Academia" among others, with the delicate human drama directed by Masahiro Ando, acclaimed for his work on "Hanasaku Iroha" and "Sword of the Stranger."

The protagonist, Namihira Bon, a junior high student whose life is remarkably ordinary, experiences something extraordinarily unordinary one day.

In the main trailer, a shocking scene is depicted right from the start where Bon's friend falls from an apartment and the surroundings are stained with blood. This scene alone highlights the audacious and distinctive nature of this series.

Appearing before the stunned Bon is Reem Stream, a Time Patrol officer dressed in a strange helmet and uniform, who looks distinctly "from the future." As she murmurs, "We have no choice but to rewind...", time is reversed to before the accident occurred, preventing his friend's death.

This incident turns Bon's life upside down. He joins a futuristic organization known as "T・P (Time Patrol)," secretly saving people from unfortunate deaths throughout various periods of history.

As a new recruit, Bon, along with his senior Reem and the self-proclaimed competent member Buyoyon, time-travels to periods such as the construction of the Pyramids in Egypt, war-torn Japan, and the Persian Wars in Greece. Initially taking it lightly, Bon grows a strong sense of mission as he witnesses the brutal events and accidents throughout history.

The "T・P" has strict rules like "Do not rescue influential historical figures," to prevent altering the timeline significantly. Despite following these rules, Bon, Reem, and their team face moral dilemmas, sometimes failing, yet bravely continue their missions.

The trailer voices heartfelt cries from the characters, dealing with the weight of lives they can and cannot save, emphasizing their commitment to saving lives despite the challenges. "Even so... We, the Time Patrol, save lives," they proclaim, pushing forward in their grand adventure.

This unique take on "SF," which Fujiko F. Fujio interprets not as "Science Fiction" but as "Slightly Mysterious Stories," offers an eccentric slice of history in an emotionally charged adventure that promises to be a delight for both adults and children, enriching their curiosity about world history.
