KADOKAWA Corporation will release Japan’s first anthology for the popular survival horror game "Dead By Daylight," titled "Dead By Daylight Fan Comic Anthology" (hereafter referred to as the anthology), on Friday, June 28, 2024. The first edition will include a serial code for an exclusive in-game charm, "Voxel Meg."

"Dead By Daylight," developed and published by Canadian game company Behaviour Interactive, is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror online game boasting 60 million players worldwide. Widely loved in Japan under nicknames such as "dbd" and "Dedoba," the game celebrates its 8th anniversary this month with increasing popularity. Future updates include special modes like 2 Killers vs. 8 Survivors.

The anthology features a cover illustration by the popular illustrator TERU and includes works from 16 game fans, including Aoki Izu, author of the popular manga "Mieruko-chan," and renowned illustrator Kangyaku, well-known among "Dead by Daylight" fans. It contains relatable player anecdotes, horror content based on the Killers’ backstories, and nostalgic maps familiar to players, making it a compelling read.

Additionally, only the first edition of this comic anthology includes a serial code for an exclusive in-game charm, "Voxel Meg." This rare item is a must-have for players and can be used by both Killers and Survivors once obtained in the game.
