Onegai AiPri Voice Actresses Appear at Launch Event as DJ KOO in Bunny Costume Jokes He Feels Like a “Guardian”

The new Pretty Series title Onegai AiPri held its official content launch event on the 26th in Tokyo, bringing together the two lead voice actresses along with ambassador DJ KOO and the ending theme artists. At the event, Hanaka Ogawa and Rika Kanaya, who voice the double protagonists of Onegai AiPri, appeared on stage. They were joined by DJ KOO, who serves as the project’s ambassador, and idol group Iginari Tohoku San, who perform the ending theme song.

A New Chapter in the Pretty Series

Onegai AiPri is the latest installment in the Pretty Series, following Himitsu no AiPri, which is currently expanding through both a television anime and an amusement game.

The story centers on two main characters, Inori and Aoi, who form a team called the Onegai Kanaetai. Together with a mysterious plush like being known as Fortu and a cast of unique companions, they work to grant the wishes of people in their town through the live performances of idol princesses known as AiPri.

Ogawa shared her joy at being cast, saying, “Kanaya chan, who plays Aoi, and I are from the same agency, and we even heard about our acceptance at the same time. We were so happy that we hugged each other and cried.” She added, “I knew how popular the previous entries in the series were, and that gradually turned into pressure. But I want to keep improving together with Kanaya chan and do our very best.”

DJ KOO Appears as “Priusa”

DJ KOO made a memorable entrance dressed as a rabbit inspired by the in story character Priusa. Standing on stage alongside Ogawa, Kanaya, and Iginari Tohoku San, he joked with a smile, “I feel like a guardian here,” drawing laughter from the audience.
