The Pretty Series is an anime franchise based on kids amusement games jointly developed by Takara Tomy Arts and Syn Sophia. Since its debut, the series has consistently expanded across games, television anime, and related media.
The franchise began in 2010 with the amusement game Pretty Rhythm Mini Skirt, followed by the TV anime Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream airing in April 2011. This was succeeded by Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future and Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live, forming a three year run under the Pretty Rhythm brand.
Afterward, the series shifted its worldview with PriPara and Idol Time PriPara, which ran for a combined four years. This was followed by Kiratto Pri Chan, which aired for three years, and the 10th anniversary title Waccha PriMagi!.
In April 2024, the latest title at the time, Himitsu no AiPri, began airing on the TV Tokyo network alongside the launch of its amusement game. Its second season, the Ring Arc, has been airing since April 2025.
The newly announced installment has been titled Onegai AiPri. Along with the announcement, its official logo was unveiled. Further details are scheduled to be revealed on February 26.
