Ai Furihata to Graduate from Love Live! Unit AiScReam as Ruby Kurosawa in March 2026; Group Announces New Lineup

Ai Furihata, who voices Ruby Kurosawa in the Love Live! series unit AiScReam, will graduate from the group in March 2026. The announcement was made on February 17 via the official Love Live! series X account.

According to the statement addressed to fans known as “Spoons,” Furihata will conclude her activities with AiScReam following the March 27, 2026 broadcast of the podcast Love Live! Series Official Card Game presents AiScReam no Torokeru Time. The project expressed deep gratitude for her long standing contributions, noting that her involvement extended well beyond the unit’s original limited term concept, dating back to the predecessor program Love Live! Series All Night Nippon GOLD.

AiScReam to Relaunch with New Members in April 2026

The announcement also revealed that AiScReam will relaunch with a renewed lineup starting with the April 10, 2026 podcast broadcast.

Continuing members include Aguri Onishi, who voices Ayumu Uehara, and Wakana Okuma, who voices Shiki Wakana. They will be joined by two new members. From Hasunosora Girls High School Idol Club, Miu Miyake, who voices Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld, will participate. From IKIZULIVE!, Rina Endo, who voices Mai Azabu, will also join the unit.

The statement added that a new song already in production will be released under the new AiScReam lineup. Fans were encouraged to continue supporting the cross series unit AiScReam.

Furihata also shared a personal message to fans. Introducing herself as the “chocolate mint representative” of AiScReam, she thanked supporters for their continued encouragement. Reflecting on the success of the song Ai Scream, she noted that it reached many listeners last year and helped introduce Ruby and the Love Live! series to a wider audience.

Although the unit was initially formed as a limited project, Furihata expressed heartfelt gratitude for the many experiences she gained through the activities. She concluded by encouraging fans to continue “scooping up” AiScReam even after Ruby’s graduation, suggesting that if fans’ voices continue to be heard, what began as a limited flavor might one day become a classic.

Ai Furihata was born on February 19 in Nagano Prefecture and has blood type B. Her notable roles include Ruby Kurosawa in Love Live! Sunshine!!, Saku in orange, and multiple characters in the game Shironeko Project. She is also a member of Aqours, the voice actress unit formed by the cast of Love Live! Sunshine!!.
