Nothing is farther away than the past. The Showa era scenery of my youth now lies beyond reach, in a distant eternity, no different from the far edge of the galaxy itself. Which is precisely why, if it is the edge of the galaxy, then Showa era scenery fits perfectly. This is a true sense of wonder born from a reversal of perspective. Perhaps the singing voice of Candies has by now traveled 45.9 light years to reach Star 47 of Ursa Major. I hope there is an Earth like planet there.

A unique Kameyama verse where grand space science fiction and nostalgic Showa era motifs coexist in perfect balance. The characters’ raw and lively exchanges. From departure to final stop, it was an instant of pure fun. Personally, I love the duo of Cart and Max, and I cannot help but hope to see them get caught up in new difficult cases and shine once again.
